The Calabash International Literary Festival, which was last staged at Jakes Treasure Beach on May 23-25, 2025, is pleased to host authors, poets, musicians and guests from across the island of Jamaica and from throughout the world. A three-day festival of readings and music — with other forms of storytelling folded in the mix — Calabash is earthy, inspirational, daring and diverse. The theme of 2025’s staging was “Bless Up.”
